Cemeteries

Council provides an opportunity for people to purchase memorial plaques for grave sites and to reserve burial plots.  Please contact your local Barcaldine Regional Council Office for further information relating to cemeteries.

Cemeteries within the Barcaldine Region are located at:

  • Alpha Cemetery is located on the Clermont Road, Alpha
  • Jericho Cemetery is located on Lyon Street, Jericho
  • Barcaldine Cemetery is located on the Capricorn Highway (on the eastern side of Barcaldine) 
  • Aramac Cemetery is located on Muttaburra Road, Aramac
  • Muttaburra Cemetery is located on Union Hole Road, Muttaburra.  For more information, please see the Muttaburra website
