Rural Libraries Queensland Online Catalogue

The Rural Libraries Queensland online catalogue has a range of resources and services available to the 28 participating councils in the network. Library members can search for books, renew loans and access online resources. All you require is a current library membership card and PIN number.

Instructions to access your online membership with Rural Libraries Queensland

1. Please google: aurora cloud, this should take you to the Aurora Cloud Montage or click here. 

2. In the top right hand corner, there is a blue login button.

3. Click on this and it will take you to the next screen where you place your membership number and pin. If you are not sure of this, please telephone Gay on 07 4651 1170 or email library@barc.qld.gov.au during business hours.

4. Once logged in you will then have access to the whole range available within the Rural Libraries Queensland catalogue. You will be able to reserve your favourite books, dvds, audiobooks. When the items have arrived at the Library, you will received notification.

Did you also know with your membership you are entitled to access any of the following electronic resources:

  • Borrow Box – eaudiobooks and ebooks
  • Overdrive – ebooks and eaudiobooks
  • RBdigital – emagazines, over 100 to choose from
  • Storybox Library - Australian children's books, read by a diverse range of local storytellers 
  • National Geographic Virtual Library – complete archive of National Geographic magazine, Traveller magazine and kids magazine
  • Kanopy – video streaming of movies, films and documentaries
