A Red carpet community screening event showcasing the results of Youth and Community Acting for Screen and Screen production workshops delivered to all schools in the region during the previous week.

The 4th annual 8 day prgram with Academy Award winning cinematopgrapher Greg Huglin and Noosa Film Academy delivers 5 Youth Acting for Screen and Screen production to Alpha State School, Aramac State School, Aramac State School, and St Josephs and one Community Workshop at the Australian Workers Heritage Centre.  Building acting for screen and screen production skills across art forms, 150 very remote youth and community participants participants engage as the film crew in work experience activities which promote employment ethos and work ethic. Accessing school and community audiences of 423 young people, the project delivers 11 digital outcomes.  Forming part of a broader community cultural development processes, a Red-Carpet Community Screening Event at the Barcaldine Radio Cinema connects Barcaldine Youth, Community Participants, their family, friends and Barcaldine Educators at an inter-regional event.  Celebrating their success Youth premier their short films and additional complimentary viewing of Oceans 50, a voationally inspiring movie montage of Greg's work over a 53 year career.
