It is 50m with an individual shaded children's wading pool. Other facilities include change rooms, showers, toilets, BBQ area and a shaded seating area.

The Barcaldine Swimming Pool is located on the corner of Pine and Wilga Street.
The Barcaldine Swimming Pool is open for the 2022/2023 season.
Entry fees apply and are as follows:
Daily Entry Adults $2.00 Children and Pensioners $1.00 Season Tickets Adults $100.00 Children and Pensioners $60.00 Family $180.00 Half Season Adults $50.00 Children and Pensioners $30.00 Family $90.00 Private functions Events and bookings (excluding Lifeguards) $50.00 Daily entry fees to be paid to the pool operator at the time of entry. Half season and season passes available from the Pool Lessee.
Children aged 10 years and under must be supervised by an adult aged 18 years and over.
