The Barcaldine Showground offers wide open place to camp.  Designed to be family friendly with communal facilities to encourage visitor interaction and group activities.  

The Barcaldine Showground offers: 

  • Powered sites
  • Ablution block
  • Dump point
  • Water
  • Pets allowed but animals must be restrained

 

Facilities not available:

  • Laundry room (facilities available in Ash Street)
  • Wi-Fi

PLEASE NOTE: 

  1. You cannot book a specific camp site and nor does it guarantee a camp site.
  2. No fires permitted.
  3. Events held at the shpwground may create noise and dust.

Dates unavailable for camping due to events:

  • Barrels For A Cause - 4 to 7 July 2024 (closed from 4 July and opening on Monday 8 July)
  • Barcaldine Campdraft – 11 to 14 July 2024 (closed from 11 July and opening on Monday 15 July)
  • Private Event - 2 to 3 August 2024 (closed from 2 August and opening Sunday 4 August)
